Megan has fifteen years of experience serving in creative, communications, development, and executive roles at ambitious social change organizations.

Megan worked as the Development & Communications Director at the Humane Society of Chittenden County, where she launched the organization’s social media presence, created a portfolio of professionally designed collateral, developed a line of branded swag and an online store, and produced highly successful fundraising events—such as bringing Temple Grandin to Vermont.

She next joined the start-up Let’s Grow Kids campaign as the organization’s first Communications Director, later becoming the Creative Director of a team of six that cultivated all aspects of the campaign’s web, digital and print ad, TV, radio, earned media, and email presence in a statewide campaign that ultimately achieved historic public investments in high-quality early childhood education.

In 2019, Megan co-founded Lines Vermont Studio, the state’s first dance studio designed for adults, and built a new market that spans a highly-inclusive range of ages, skill levels, backgrounds, genders, and dance genres. She ushered the studio through an expansion in 2024.

Megan currently serves as the Executive Director of the Vermont Dance Alliance, a nonprofit arts service organization that serves and advocates for Vermont’s dance sector.

In her free time, she makes fine art.
